1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect & Why

• Account: First name, email address, password (hashed) – for authentication.
• Profile: Date of birth, gender, location (coordinates), profile photo, matching preferences – to run the matching algorithm.
• Technical: Session cookie (login session), IP address (server log, 7 days).

3. Legal Basis

Processing is based on contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and – for optional profile data – your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Third Parties

• Google Fonts – fonts are loaded directly from Google servers, which receives your IP address.

We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

5. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon a deletion request, all personal data is removed immediately, no later than 30 days. Invoice records are retained for 10 years as required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data. Contact us at privacy@blossom.dating. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
